Example: Object-Oriented Automation Systems Design with Function Blocks

The example "Distribution station of FESTO Didactic" presents the idea of component-based design using IEC 61499 and the visualisation library.

Instructions:

Download the package (vv.zip) and place it to the root of your FBDK or FBench folder. Unpack there using WinZip's option "Extract to Here".

This will create vv.jar and vv.bat in the FBDK folder and will add the following subfolders to /src:

/fst1
/service
/vhmi
/vnet
/vmath

Run FBDK using vv.bat (not usual fbeditor.bat)!

The example is in /src/fst1. It includes the following runnable system configurations:
FST1_VIEW - System configuration for testing Views of both mechatronic objects
FST_MV - System configuration that allows manual setting of actuators signals
FST1_MVC - System configuration combining Model-View-Controller and model of HMI
